Rowad Plastic’s polycarbonate sheets are high performance engineering thermoplastic sheets characterized by high clarity heat and flame resistance. They have dimensional stability with exceptionally high impact strength over a wide temperature range, and durable for outdoor application because of the UV layers on both sides. They also have impact strength at low temperatures, chemical resistance and are dimensionally stable. They will resist cracking and splitting and are therefore weather resistant.

Bisphenol - A (BPA)

Bisphenol - A also known as BPA is a white crystalline mass that is obtained by reacting phenol and acetone using a catalyst. Because the compound has two hydroxyl groups with high sensitivity at the tip of each molecule, it is popularly used as an ingredient in high-molecular chemical compounds.

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)

ABS is an opaque thermoplastic and amorphous polymer. Thermoplastics become liquid at a certain temperature (221 degrees Fahrenheit in the case of ABS plastic). They can be heated to their melting point, cooled, and re-heated again without significant degradation. Instead of burning, thermoplastics like ABS liquefy, which allows them to be easily injection molded and then subsequently recycled.
There are countless applications for ABS. Among the most widely identifiable are keys on a computer keyboard, power-tool housing, the plastic face-guard on wall sockets (often a PC/ABS blend), and LEGO toys.
